Did you know that 71% of “tweets” from Twitter are ignored? That statistic doesn’t surprise any of us here at Eastern Legal Systems. After all, who wants to know what somebody had for dinner, what sporting event you are watching tonight, or other such mundane news?
However, Twitter (and other social media) can be used for higher purposes, and that’s what we’d like to do at ELS. And so we’d like to encourage all of you to “follow us on Twitter”. In addition to our weekly blog posts, we will be sending out the occasional “tweet” to let you know about a “tip or trick” for one of the software programs you may use, or to alert everyone to an event we may be hosting in your area, or perhaps a speaking engagement you might want to attend. Or perhaps some other timely news you need to know.
We’ll even invite you to give us some ideas about things you’d like to know about from us. You can post your comments here directly on this blog entry. We promise to keep our posts interesting and not overburden you with trivialities.
If you’d like to try following our tweets, here’s how you can do so–
- Click the link on the right side of any of our email messages. OR
- Go to our website (http://www.easternlegalsystems.com) and click on the Twitter icon embedded in the graphic at the top of the page (the stylized “t”), OR
- Sign in to Twitter if you already have your own account and look for “ELSpartners”
We promise to never reveal what we had for dinner last night, or what sports team we are rooting for this month (as if we could ever agree!). But we will try to send fresh and engaging content your way via this innovative piece of communication technology.
Let us know what you think.
